A little something about the artist behind the gallery.
My name is Siddharth Deshpande. Ever since I can first remember, I have enjoyed the beauty of visual art and the rewarding process behind making artwork that holds personal meaning to me. I began doing serious artwork when I was 11 years old at a studio in Allen, Texas. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin where I study electrical and computer engineering.
I have worked in various mediums including graphite, watercolor, acrylic and oil. Although I find inspiration for my artwork from various places, you will notice that I often incorporate elements of nature into my artwork, such as animals, plants, natural landscapes, and so on. This is because I love the natural world and the beauty it offers that can be depicted within art. I have created this online art gallery to display my love for art and the pride that I have for my own artwork.
